Today was our first day of summer and it was great!  We had a blast just doing nothing!  We slept in, played all morning, had a picnic lunch on the patio, chilled in the house while Madi took a nap, played in the hot tub, helped Grandpa E. unload a trailer, then finished up the day playing outside with Gracie for about an hour!  It was the perfect way to start our summer vacation! I hope this keeps up!  I asked the kids what we should do tomorrow and bake cookies and play all day are on the list!  I have it made I know!!!   Ty is very motivated by rewards so yesterday I got him his own library card to help encourage him to keep reading this summer.  We'll see how long it last....don't have my expectations set too high he doesn't sit still long!
